ABOUT US
ATA4ART arose from an inner need to create. Different characters and age groups can be found in ATA4ART creations, which is a projection of the author herself, who in her maturity retains her youth and love for the joy and diversity of life. Behind the name ATA4ART is Antica Tomić, a proud mother of four children and aunt of a girl who could not pronounce her name, hence the name ATA and number 4. Antica is the creator of handmade jewelry, souvenirs and Christmas decorations. The love for making jewelry began around 2010. She also completed a workshop for a contemporary jewelry designer and developed an interest in completely new and different creations made of brass, copper and silver, which she now wants to dedicate herself to.
“It is a real work of art from sketching, sawing, decorating with various techniques and finally fine finishing and polishing. The process is long, but I enjoy every step and it is a great joy when you see the final result. A lot of effort, time and love has been invested in each piece and people recognize that ”.
In addition to jewelry, I make souvenirs, permanent Easter and Christmas decorations from various materials, wool and felt, and everything is of course handmade! She draws inspiration in different ways, she finds it in materials, in everything that surrounds her. "I love geometric shapes, and as I develop I strive for some simplicity and purity of lines, and with some details I achieve uniqueness and diversity"
COPPER BRACELET
“The art of drywall construction was entered in the Register of Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Croatia in 2013, and at the beginning of 2016 an international initiative was launched to make a nomination to UNESCO to include the art of drywall construction in the Representative List of Intangible Human Heritage. 11/28/2018 The art of dry stone construction, entitled "art of dry stone walling, knowledge and techniques", was inscribed on the UNESCO list of the intangible heritage of mankind.
Nominations were submitted jointly by the following countries: Cyprus, France, Greece, Croatia, Italy, Slovenia, Spain and Switzerland. Antica Tomić, the author behind the Ata4art brand, found inspiration for her art in our old Croatian art of construction and made this beautiful bracelet that can be a wonderful gift and souvenir from our beautiful Croatia! ”
